Current weight: 125.2 lbs: 10/3/2013
**Originally had weight loss as a goal, but I have evolved my thinking. My goal is to eat well, sleep well, and exercise! If weight loss accompanies that then great. If weight loss does not then fine. I am not driven by numbers on a scale but overall health!**
I have been so darn sick! The past 3 or so weeks I was working out and doing well but I don’t think I got on a blogged about it. I was running and strength training and starting to build my stamina back up. Then I got sick, and sick again, and then sicker. It started with a nasty cold that took all my energy and left even my normal chores and kiddo chores hard to do. Then, that cold developed into a sinus infection. I couldn’t breathe along with having no energy and had a pounding sinus headache. That lovely condition then turned into the stomach flu on Black Friday. I haven’t been able to exercise for 2 weeks! I am so frustrated because even when I first got the cold I was exercising anyway and the day after I would exercise then I would feel absolutely terrible. I would start feeling better so I would exercise and go right back to feeling terrible. Then I just got worse. Ugh! I think I’m finally on the mend here after 3 weeks of this junk but it’s been a painful bit of time off. Today is the first day that my head doesn’t hurt, I can breath, and my stomach isn’t boiling in about the last month. I choose to be thankful for finally feeling better!! I’m planning on playing it safe and laying low until Thursday just to make sure I don’t get anything again or get worse again by exercising again too soon. I’m hopeful that I’ll be back on track by Thursday!
